Carmen Lentz, LCMHCS
I do this work because I love helping people maximize their potential. Sometimes, we just need to get out of our own way, believe in ourselves, stop self-sabotaging, and expand our capacity for self-acceptance. So many of life’s obstacles feel intractable and overwhelming, but with help and support, things can improve. We are all works in progress, and we owe it to ourselves and our communities to be the best version of ourselves we can be.
My work is based on a foundation in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, (ACT), and Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I incorporate mindfulness, a person-centered, trauma informed approach, and a strengths-based perspective in my counseling. Working collaboratively, we will address your goals in an environment that fosters personal empowerment and promotes healing and growth.
If you are dissatisfied with where you find yourself now but believe that you can both do better and be better, please reach out. Together, we can help you move forward towards your goals.
