Adelina Roman, LCSW

When life seems out of balance, you may become so overwhelmed that sometimes you may feel depressed, isolate, feel helpless, and feel hopeless. Or you may feel anxious, worried, irritable, or struggle with addictions. These are all normal and common responses when under stress. Unfortunately, when you’re in a chronic state of stress, this may affect the way you relate to yourself and others.

I know making that initial phone call to see a therapist can be difficult. It takes courage to ask for help. However, in our vulnerability and pain, lies the possibility for growth and change. You don’t have to do this alone. Therapy can help you navigate through life’s challenges.

You can develop a greater capacity for positive emotions where feelings of safety, connection, and joy can take place again. You can feel empowered as you learn healthier ways of coping, and learn new and more effective ways to manage problems.

I provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment. I use an integrative and trauma informed approach using research-based approaches such as EMDR, EFT (tapping), CBT, DBT, and IFS. Additionally, as an Army veteran, former spouse of a military retiree, and a parent, I also understand the challenges military families face.

If you’re ready for change, I’d like to be of service to you. Please call our office, and I look forward to meeting with you.
